Sorry for the date change. We're working on our ability to read calendars properly. Now you guys can enjoy the long weekend!

The recent BBQ was great so let's do it again! Last chance before it gets cold. Wai has been so kind to offer up his place in the harbourfront area for our use. Very close to Madeleines place if you were there for our first poker night. This is in attempt to bring it back DT and thank you to all the DTers who make the trek up North. We again will be doing poker AND pool tournaments as well. Directions will be sent closer to the event date and not posted for semi-obvious reasons :) The BBQ will again be on a payment basis so no one has to worry about bringing anything but a few bucks. If you have poker sets please bring them as well. And for those that are on the fence..we have Dance Dance Revolution..you're sold now eh? lol.

C'mon you know you want to lol. Obviously you will have to pay your fair share of the room cost but it's a lot of fun! (for some after a drink or two lol) Cost should be around 10-12 dollars. We chose Twister to bring the meetup a little but further North but if many prefer XO in Koreatown (Bloor/Christie) we can move it there. Just let me know.
Both places offer private rooms, are liquor licensed and are roughly the same price. They all offer English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean and some Japanese songs.

I haven't been in the longest time so it should be jokes...see you there!

Ok so how about it? We can grab a great dinner at the Rosewater Supper Club and then head to Yonge-Dundas Square for the opening celebration of the Street Festival!! Show starts at 8:30 and I'm so excited. Here's a short blurb about one of the acts that night from toronto.ca:

The World Premiere of Tricycle!

Tricycle is a nomadic journey through public space by an ensemble of 16 Toronto-based performers combining circus, aerial performances, pyro-fueled dance, mechanical, and fire arts. Culminating in a human-powered pyro wheel suspended 60 feet in the air, Tricycle will take place everywhere around Yonge-Dundas Square with the lines between audience and performer blurred as the show passes through the crowd.

There will also be live performances and I'm looking forward to seeing Rosette with her great r&b :-)

RSVP capped at 10 due to the difficulty in getting reservations.
